Hampstead, NH: Carol P. Hughes, 63, long time resident of Newton, NH, died at her home on April 4, 2021.

Born in Methuen, MA, on October 17, 1957, she was the daughter of Carol A. Krylow of Pensacola, FL and the late Howard H. Hughes, Sr.

Carol was a fragile soul who loved animals very much. She has rescued and nurtured back to health many animals and birds. She was a kid at heart who enjoyed laughing and was very much a homebody.

In addition to her parents, she leaves behind her loving stepmother, Lorraine L. Hughes of Berwick, ME, her beloved sister, Jane R. Boulanger and her husband, Gregory of Newton, NH; she was the favorite aunt of nephews, Daniel H. Gage and James H. Gage of Dover, NH and Ronald Z. Boulanger of New Port Richey, FL. Also survived by her neighbor and best friend, Raymond Duquette of Hampstead, NH.

She was predeceased by her father Howard H. Hughes, Sr. by nine days, her brother Howard H. Hughes, Jr., and her nephew, Joseph A. Gage.

There will be no services per Carol's wishes. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends.
