Carol A. (McGovern) Caggiano, 88, a resident of Haverhill, MA died on Monday, April 21, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Caggiano.

She was born in Lowell, MA on July 31, 1936 and was the daughter of the late John and Bridget (Corkery) McGovern. Carol was raised and educated in North Chelmsford, MA and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School, Class of 1954. She attended Rivier College in Nashua NH. She was employed as a receptionist at New Balance Athletic Shoe in Lawrence, for over thirty-one years until her retirement. Carol enjoyed collecting recipes and cooking. She loved to travel. Carol most especially cherished time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Having two sets of twins, Carol was a member of the Twin Mother's Club in Haverhill. She was a spousal member of the former Massachusetts State Troopers Association.

Carol is survived by her twin daughters, Catherine B. Tikellis and her husband Anthony of Methuen, MA, and Carol A. Loree of Haverhill, MA, her three sons, John V. Caggiano and his wife Donnel of Dover, NH, and twins, Patrick F. Caggiano and his wife Kathleen of Abington, MA, and Michael X. Caggiano and his wife Diane of Salem, MA, her ten grandchildren Alexandra Tikellis and her husband Kevin Connell,  Steven Tikellis, Raymond Loree and his wife Jenna, Bridgette Cusimano and her husband Anthony, Catherine Loree, Joseph Caggiano, John Caggiano and his wife Vivian, Colin Caggiano, Angelina Caggiano, and Kelly Caggiano, her twelve great grandchildren, and her sister-in-law Marie Donarumo. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at 9am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in Sacred Hearts Parish, Bradford, MA.
