Batavia, NY: Carl David Kirsch, Jr., 44, of East Kingston, NH, died on May 14, 2020, in Batavia, NY.
Born in Exeter, NH, he was the son of Jayne Carter and the late Carl David Kirsch, Sr. David, as everyone called him, graduated from Exeter High School, Class of 1994. After high school he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon his Honorable Discharge he began working in construction as a mason and then excavating as a heavy equipment operator.
David was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to go four-wheeling, deer hunt, freshwater fish, and ski the mountains of New Hampshire. From the time he was a young boy and through his teenage years, he loved going to Virginia to stay with relatives and go crabbing all day long. David also treasured the simple things in life like helping others anyway he could and a good fluffernutter sandwich.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Haley and Mia Kirsch, his brothers, Frank "JJ" Locke, Jr. and Jared Hanscomb, his sister Christine Desilets and her husband Robert, his step-mother, Susan (Reed) Kirsch, as well as many extended family members.
