IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brunhilde Annemarie
Convery
March 25, 1939 – November 22, 2022
Fremont, NH; Brunhilde "Bruni" Annemarie Convery, 83, longtime resident of Plaistow, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Colonial Poplin Rehabilitation Facility.
Bruni was born in Bernstadt, Germany, and was raised and educated in Kolbermoor, Germany. She was the daughter to the late Alfons and Anna (Schwitalla) Hauck. Following graduation, she pursued training specializing in retail. One night, she and her best friend decided to go enjoy an evening out at the local rest and relaxation army base where an Army Sergeant, James Convery, asked her to dance. After a whirlwind romance, they married and moved stateside and settled in Lowell, Massachusetts, where they started their family. In 1975, they purchased a home in Plaistow. She went on to begin her over twenty-year career at Cumberland Farms helping maintain the store, complete orders and all of the in-between.
Bruni was a talented seamstress and she also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She always looked forward to her annual family trips to Las Vegas every October, as well as trips to Foxwoods and other local casinos with her husband. Above all, family was most important. She cherished the memories she made with her children and grandchildren, especially the sleepovers. Bruni also enjoyed shopping, and Kohl's was her favorite store.
Bruni is lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-four years, James "Jim" Convery of Plaistow; two daughters, Christine Pageau and her husband, Joseph, of Plaistow, NH and Carolyn Chantre and her husband, Tony, of Newmarket, NH; four grandchildren, Brandon, Hannah, Madison and Cameron. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Asta and Ludwig Sedlmeier.
