Hampstead, NH: Bruce T. Gagne, 73, a resident of Hampstead since 1970, died on January 4, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of the late Ludger and Cecile (Dore) Gagne. He was raised and educated in Andover, MA, graduating from Andover High School with the Class of 1965 and attended Northeast Institute of Industrial Technology. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 until his honorable discharge in 1970 as a Draftsman's Mate. Stationed in Morocco, he was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal.
Bruce was a self-employed Printed Circuit Board Designer. He was the owner of Eastern Circuits of Hampstead, a business that he established and operated for thirty-five years until his retirement in 2014. He had previously worked at Wang Laboratories.
A member of St. Anne's Parish, he was the longtime chairman of the church's annual craft fair and had served as a member of the School Board at St. Joseph's School in Salem, NH. Bruce enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fishing, and was an avid sports fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. He also enjoyed reading, watching his grandchildren play sports, wintering in Florida and doing home repairs and improvements.
Bruce will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of almost fifty-one years, Marcia K. (Emilio) Gagne; a son, Kevin B. Gagne and his wife, Rebecca of Hampstead, NH; two daughters, Lisa M. Charest and her husband, Dana of Plaistow, NH and April L. Gagne and her partner, Hannah Kunberger of Philadelphia, PA; a sister, Priscilla Wholley and her husband, Robert of So. Yarmouth, MA; six grandchildren, Stephen, Tyler, Matthew, Austin, Hannah and Emily; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Funeral Mass for Bruce will be private for family only at St. Anne's Church, Hampstead. The Mass will be live-streamed on St. Anne's Parish website on Friday, January 8, 2021, at 10:30 AM and can be seen by viewing the link below: https://saintannechurchnh.org/livestream
