Brigitte H. (Froemberg) Imonti, age 87, of Kingston, NH, died at home on Sunday, May 19, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome J. Imonti Sr. with whom she shared 35 years of marriage.

Brigitte was born in Hirschberg, Germany on January 19, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Willi and Agnes (Pampuch) Froemberg.

Brigitte and her family were expelled from East Germany in 1945. They settled in Landshut, West Germany. She graduated high school and continued her education at a trade school in Cologne, Germany, where she learned fashion merchandising and buying. She was employed at a large department store until she met the love of her life. She then followed her heart to the United States. Brigitte and her husband Jerry owned and operated Jerry's Sealfast, a wholesale auto parts business serving the North Shore and southern NH for over 55 years. The family business is still run by their son Jerome Jr. She was a devoted wife and mother. She always loved children and animals. Brigitte cherished time with her family and was active in her community as a Kingston Lioness.  She enjoyed baking, cooking, music and movies. Brigitte filled her home with song as she happily sang as she went about her daily routine. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her.

She is survived by her children Jerome J. Imonti Jr. of Kingston, NH, Jeffrey J. Imonti and his wife Nancy of Kingston, NH, Theodore W. Imonti of Kingston, NH, and Cynthia J. Imonti and her partner Donald Beauchesne of Kingston, NH, her grandson Timothy J. Imonti, her sister Eleonore Hirblinger of Landshut, Germany, and her brother-in-law Roger Imonti and his wife Marcelle of Haverhill, Ma. She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Brigitte was sadly predeceased by her son Timothy C. Imonti and her siblings Erich, Liesbeth, Margarete, Helmut and Herbert.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 4pm-7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St., Plaistow. Her funeral be held on Friday, May 31 at 11am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in St. Patrick's cemetery Haverhill, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Parish Bradford, MA.
