Obituary

Methuen, MA;

Betty Ann was born at home in Methuen, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Radzwill) Bilapka.

She graduated from Tenney High School in Methuen and went onto Merrimack and Northern Essex colleges.

She was employed by various companies in the accounting field. Her last position was with Home Health Foundation from which she retired from after 18 years of service. Following retirement, she enjoyed many of the activities offered at Atkinson Community Center. She also volunteered many hours at St Luke Local Food Pantry. She made many new friends at both.

Her attitude towards life was positive and had a smile for everyone whether she knew you or not. Throughout her life she made many cherished long-term friends. She loved to be a hostess with either a house full of friends, or just a few. Her favorite holiday was Easter (being of polish heritage this was natural) and had easter decorations in her home for many years for her relatives and friends.

She was the widow of Edwin Warren Student with whom she shared 62 years of marriage.

She is survived by her cherished son, Kevin Warren Student; her adored grandsons, Tyler James Student and Connor Ryan Student. She also leaves her niece Mary Jean Fawcett and her husband, Thomas; her nephews Edward J. Bilapka, his wife, Gayle; his former wife Rhonda; Bruce Bilapka, Andrea and Barry Bilapka (her godson); her "out West family" James Virginia, Margie, Beth, Bill, and Cathy Daily; she too loves her great-grand nieces and nephews, Thomas, Sarah., Amy, Kristen and Johanna, and her great-great grand nieces and nephews. She was "Aunt Betty' to all of them and took much pride in them.

She was predeceased by her brother Edward Bilapka and his wife, Gertrude; her sister, Claire Frances Daily Stafinbil, and her husband Hank Daily Stafinbil
