Plaistow: Betty Lou (Ceder) Harris, 85, of Plaistow, died January 15, 2019 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.

Born, raised and educated in Newburyport, MA, daughter of the late Earl T. and Marion (Coffin) Ceder, she was a member of the Newburyport High School Class of 1950. She worked as an inspector for many years at Western Electric, AT & T and Lucent technologies, retiring in 1999.

A resident of Plaistow since 1966, Mrs. Harris enjoyed knitting, shopping, gardening and trips to the beach.

The wife of the late Elmer B. Harris, Jr., she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Melinda B. (Harris) Lemieux, of Plaistow, a brother Fred Ceder of Merrimac, MA , a sister Janice Tuck and her husband Ron of Newton, NH, two grandchildren, Kayla A. Stundze, and Suzanne E. (Stundze) Wentzell, great grandchildren Brody Wentzell and Coralee Wentzell, extended family members, Ashley (Lemieux) McVay and Shawn Lemieux, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother E. Wayne Ceder, and her son-in-law Richard P. Lemieux.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 11:45 in the funeral home. Burial in holy Angels Cemetery will take place in the spring.
