Beatrice (Manetti) Spera, 97, a resident of Haverhill, MA died on Monday, April 7, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen Spera.

She was born in Lawrence, MA on June 10, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Aurelio and Felicetta (Rossi) Manetti. Beatrice was raised and educated in Haverhill and attended Haverhill High School. She was a homemaker, dedicating her life to her family. Beatrice enjoyed singing and dancing. She shared her love of performing as a member of the Comedy Masque Review through the Haverhill Senior Center. Beatrice was a longtime parishioner of the former St. Rit's Parish in Haverhill and later at Holy Angels Parish in Plaistow, NH.

Beatrice is survived by her son Gino Spera and his life partner Kimberly Holloway of Haverhill, MA and Kimberly's two children, David Maddocks of Austin, Texas and Krystal Maddocks of Haverhill Ma, and her granddaughter Melissa Post and her husband Gary. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

She was sadly predeceased by her children Anthony Spera and Jennifer Howe.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10am – 12pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main Street Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 12:15pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held privately.
