Sandown, NH:  Barry A. Horton, 62, of Sandown, died January 13, 2017 at his home of natural causes.

Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of Edward D. and Laila (Olsen) Horton.  Raised in Saugus, MA, he attended Saugus High School and graduated with the Class of 1971.  He worked as a Road Technician for Eastman Kodak and Kodak Polychrome for twenty years until his retirement.

Mr. Horton co-owned and operated Blakeley Goldens in Sandown where he raised and trained Golden Retrievers.  He was a member of the Yankee Golden Retrievers Club and the Chester Rod and Gun Club.  He also enjoyed fishing and traveling.

The husband of Kaye M. (Blakeley) Horton of Bedford, NH, he was also survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward E. and Jeannette Horton of Danville; a sister, Carla Horton of Saugus, MA; two step grandchildren, Jeremy Murphy and Brandy Borges and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call on Saturday, January 21, 2017, from 11 AM to 2 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  Donations may be made to RNMOW (Meals on Wheels), 106 North Road, Brentwood, NH 03833 or to Community Caregivers of Greater Derry, 1B Common Dr., Unit 10, Londonderry, NH 03053.
