Barbara A. (Brown) Yoho, age 81, of Atkinson, NH., passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA., surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Russell A. Yoho with whom she shared fifty-four years of marriage.

She was born in Lynn, MA., on December 9, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Douglas and Kathleen (Reagan) Brown.

Barbara attended St Joseph's Grammar School followed by St Joseph's Academy in Roxbury, MA. She then went on to Burdett College, graduating in an Executive Secretarial Program. Her first job out of college was at Converse Rubber Company in Malden, MA. She held various positions and enjoyed traveling, once touring all through Europe. She met the love of her life, Russell, became engaged and then married in June of 1969. They built a home in Stickney's Grove on Big Island Pond in Atkinson, NH. Soon after, their family expanded with Douglas in 1973 and then Russ Jr in 1975. Although she held several part-time positions over the years, her joy was being a loving wife and mother. She was always the life of the party and anyone who met Barbara loved her. She will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know her.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Russell, her two sons Douglas and Russ Jr, . two sisters, Kathleen (David) Kinsella of New Lenox, IL, her nieces Colleen and Kailey; and Dorothy (Ronald) Narcisi of Crete, IL, her nieces Katie, Kristen, her nephew Michael, and great niece Lily, special life-long friend (Brother) Paul Roche, several cousins, and an extensive list of friends too numerous to name.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, very special cousin Sister Vincetta Scanlon, stepfather Robert Kelly and numerous aunts and uncles.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home in Plaistow. Her funeral service and interment will be held privately.
