Obituary

Haverhill: Barbara M. (Griffin) Gagnon, 89, a native and life-long resident of Haverhill, died peacefully at her home on January 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

The daughter of the late Patrick and Dorothy (Wing) Griffin she attended local schools and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1951. Mrs. Gagnon worked for many years as a sales associate at Maguire's of Bradford.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She created a warm and inviting home and opened her doors to all of her family and friends. An avid gardener, her main passion in life was spending time with her family.

Predeceased in 2001 by her husband of forty-six years, Alfred D. "Al" Gagnon, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard D. and June Gagnon of Haverhill and Bruce D. and Deborah Gagnon of Plaistow, NH, four daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Joseph Montibello of Haverhill, Theresa and Michael Angeloni of Haverhill, Kim and Thomas Peterson of Danville,NH and Lisa and James Hinds of Haverhill, a sister Dorothy Leo of Haverhill, twelve grandchildren, Joseph Montibello and his wife Robin, Melissa Montibello, Joshua Gagnon and his wife Caitlin, John Gagnon and his wife Christina, Samantha Gagnon and her partner Joey Bibeau, Christopher Angeloni and his wife Abby, Laurie Crook and her husband Spencer, Jason Angeloni and his fiancé, Colleen Read, Sarah Rochefort and her husband Kyle, Amanda Bradley and her husband Aaron, Daniel Hinds, and Kelsie Delyani and her husband Nathan; and fourteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 10 a.m until 12 o'clock p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery.
