Exeter, NH: Barbara Ann (Franzi) Harrington, 68, of East Hampstead, NH, died at Exeter Hospital on February 28, 2019.

Born and raised in Lynn, MA, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Angelli) Franzi, she was a member of the Class of 1969 at Lynn English High School. For over forty years Barbara was employed at Raytheon working her way to group leader and most recently as an inspector.

She was a very kind woman with a heart of gold. She loved life and helping others whenever and wherever she got the chance. Barbara had a special appreciation of veterans and was a member of the Kingston Veterans Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and cruise vacations in the Caribbean. These trips gave her the opportunity to do some of her favorite activities, which were playing the slots, card games, and not to mention scratch tickets.

Barbara will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters, Angela Mancini of Wilmington, MA, Maryann Franzi of Lynn, her four nieces, Lisa Frasca of Beverly, MA, Linda Adams of Midlothian, VA, Rhonda Faiella of Lynn, Ronette Furey of Lynn, and nephew, Anthony Mancini of Peabody, MA, several grand nephews and nieces, and one great grandnephew. She was predeceased by her husband of twenty-one years, Joseph Harrington, and sister, Elaine Faiella.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday August 16, 2019 from 12 PM to 1 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service is at 1:15 PM in the funeral home followed by burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Hampstead, NH.
