Haverhill, MA:  Barbara C. (Comeau) Brunelle, 76, of Haverhill, died on Sunday, June 11, 2017, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Boston.

A native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late John Roger and Rita (Boulanger) Comeau.  She attended St. Joseph Grammar School and Haverhill High school, graduating with the Class of 1958.  She worked in the Crystal Room for twenty-five years at Western Electric Company and A T & T until her retirement.  She was previously employed at Goldberg Shoe Company, and WHAV, where she worked as a receptionist and as a clerk at J. M. Fields.

Barbara was a member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and the former Saint Joseph Parish, and also the Communication Workers of America, Local 1365.   She enjoyed bowling as a member of the Saint Joseph Bowling Leagues, attending and taking part in yard sales and flea markets, gardening, cooking. Totally devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren, she enjoyed taking care of all of her immediate and extended family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of fifty-six years, Robert G. Brunelle, her son Robert G. Brunelle Jr. of Derry, NH, a daughter Theresa A. Brunelle of Haverhill, a brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Lorraine Comeau of Wilmington, sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith Cesati of Atkinson, Kathi Rapaglia of Newton, NH, Norma and James Walsh of Leander, Texas, and Anne and James Michaud of Round Rock, Texas, three grandchildren, Robert J. Brunelle, Katelynn M. Brunelle, Allyson M. Pascoe, a great grand-daughter Sophi Lee Case, one aunt and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her grand-daughter Samantha L. Pascoe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbara's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue, Haverhill.
