Plaistow: Barbara J. (Collins) Glover of Plaistow, died peacefully on January 16, 2018 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.

Born in Ipswich, MA on December 4, 1927, she was raised by Truman and Albertine Sargent and educated in Plaistow at the Pollard School and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1946.

Employed first in the local shoe industry, Mrs. Glover worked for many years at Western Electric Co., A T & T Technologies and Lucent Technologies until her retirement. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, The Telephone Pioneers of America and The Newton Junction Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, camping cruises and traveling.

Predeceased by her husband Kenneth N. Glover in 2015, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne E. and Linda Glover of Kissimmee, FL, David K. Glover of Newton, NH, and Michael T. and Patricia Glover of Plaistow, her twin sister Beatrice Brown of Plaistow, eight grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Glover's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 from 4 to 6 p.m.at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow.
