Atkinson, NH: Barbara E. (Bailey) Colcord, 92, a native and lifelong resident of Atkinson, died Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at her home.

The daughter of the late Frank and Ava Mae (Johnson) Bailey, she attended Atkinson Academy and the MacIntosh Business School. She was employed as an accounts receivable clerk for Nelson Powell Electric Co for several years and was a member of the Atkinson Historical Society.

Mrs. Colcord was predeceased by her husband Ross E. Colcord in 2004 and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Bruce E. and Priscilla Colcord of Kingston, NH and Brian S. and Rosanne Colcord, of Andover, MA, three grand-daughters, Jessica and her husband James Yazell of North Andover, MA, Rebecca and her husband Justin Behling of Portsmouth, NH and Emma R. Colcord of Andover, two great-grandchildren, Ethan Yazell and Nolan Yazell and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 9 to 10 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with burial to follow in Atkinson Cemetery.
