East Kingston, NH: Barbara L. (Page) Bertone, 85, died Friday, July 20, 2012 at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont.



Born and raised in Beverly, daughter of the late Benjamin and Marjorie (Goodwin) Page she graduated from Beverly High School. She first worked as a young woman in local factories. In later years, as a housewife and homemaker, she knitted and crocheted whirly-gigs that she sold to area residents. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting blankets and sweaters for her family and friends.



She was a member of the Fellowship Bible Church of Chester for over thirty years and a longtime resident of East Kingston.



The wife of the late Attilio Bertone, she is survived by a son Gerald Lemieux of East Kingston, two daughters and sons-in-law, Donna (Lemieux) and James Gaudet of Bradford, MA, and Lynda (Bertone) and Michael Labrie of Milton, NH, two brothers, Robert Page and his wife Polly of Topsfield, MA and Russell Page of Wolfeboro, also eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.



Her funeral will take place on Wednesday, July 25, at 3 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116, Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Calling hours will precede the service from 1 to 2:45 p.m. A private family burial service will take place in Hillside Cemetery, East Kingston at a later date.
