Arthur J. Ennis, 72, of Haverhill, died Friday evening, November 2, 2012, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.



Born and educated in Haverhill, he was the son of the late Frederick and Blanche (Thibodeau) Ennis. He was a former builder and carpenter in the local area and also worked at the former Salisbury Beach Arcade. He retired as a rod cutter from Shea's Concrete Co. of Amesbury.



A longtime Friend of Bill, Mr. Ennis enjoyed computer games and spending time at the beach and was devoted to his cat "Booboo".



Predeceased by his wife Alba (Aimaro) Ennis, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law John J. and Claudette Ennis of Bradford, a brother Lawrence J. Ennis of Haverhill, his longtime friend Linda Baker of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday, November 6, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at BERUBE- Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Route 97, Haverhill. A few moments of remembrance will be held in Mr. Ennis's honor at 7:45.
