Danville, NH – Arlene Rita (Levesque) Mignault, 69, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022 at her home, with her loving family around her. Arlene battled with several years of declining health.
Born in Derry, NH, on February 27, 1953, she was the daughter to the late Omar Levesque, and Jennie (Abdullah) Indeglia.
Arlene grew up in Lawrence, MA and graduated from Lawrence High School in 1971. In 1972, she married her high school sweetheart, Gary T. Mignault. They were just one month shy of celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They made their home in Methuen, MA for 35 years, after residing in Danville NH for the last 15 years.
Arlene was a devoted homemaker and spent most of her time raising their three children. Later in life, she worked as a short order cook for several Merrimack Valley Restaurants, including Governor's Restaurant in Salem, NH. She also worked as a hostess for several years at the Royal Dragon Restaurant in Lawrence.
Arlene enjoyed taking care of her flower gardens and working in the yard. She was an avid bingo and keno player and enjoyed going to local casinos to play her favorite slot machines. She also bowled in several leagues through the years. She loved taking care of her five grandchildren and reading stories to them.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Gary Mignault; daughters, Michele Marsh and her husband, David of Salem, NH, Laurie Mignault and her longtime boyfriend, John Eon of Lynn, MA; son, Shawn Mignault and his longtime girlfriend, Janelle Evans of Lynn, MA; her five grandchildren, whom she absolutely adored, Kylie and Addison Marsh, Callie Mignault, Normen and Noah Evans; sisters, Rose Proctor and her husband, Joseph, Amelia Cardillo and her boyfriend, Bill Sacchetti, Patricia Melo and her husband, Jose; brother, Patrick Indeglia and his wife, Peggy; sisters-in-law, Nancy Mignault, Lisa Pilleri and her husband, Tom; brothers-in-law, David Mignault, Alan Mignault; godchild, Sabrina Melo, and many nieces and nephews. Her three closest friends, whom she loved dearly, Linda Pacheco, JoAnne Lemieux, and Claudette Chambers. She was predeceased by her sister, Priscilla Henshaw; stepfather, John Indeglia and her sister-in-law, Mary Jane Mignault.
At Arlene's request, there will be no calling hours. A celebration of Arlene's life will be held later this fall. Arrangements are entrusted to Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 5 Branch Steet, Methuen, MA 01844.
