Plaistow, NH: Anthony J. "Tony" Gaudette, 48, of Plaistow died on June 25, 2016 at his home following a courageous battle with ALS and surrounded by his loving family and many friends and co-workers.
Born in Nashua, NH, and raised in Lawrence, MA, he graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional Vocation and Technical High School with the Class of 1985 and later attended Northern Essex Community College, where he received his Associates Degree in Nursing.
Tony was employed as a Registered Nurse at Lawrence General Hospital for nineteen years.
An avid and knowledgeable sports fan and Patriot's fan, Tony had an extensive background in plumbing and enjoyed helping his coworkers and friends with their plumbing needs.
He is survived by his wife of five years, Melissa A. (Malvers) Berube, his mother, Irene L. (Greenwood) Gaudette, two sons and a daughter, Anthony J. Gaudette, Jr., Joshua Gaudette, and Alexa Gaudette all of Derry, NH, step-sons, Nicholas Berube of Stratham and Benjamin Berube of Plaistow, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Nancy (McGrath) Malvers of Sarasota, FL.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tony's Life Celebration on Wednesday, June 29 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH.
