Obituary

Boston: Anne M. Huberdeau, age 67, a longtime resident of the Brighton section of Boston and formerly of Haverhill, died last week at her home in Boston.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Gerard and Cecile (Cormier) Huberdeau, she attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1971, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

A homemaker for most of her later life, Anne was an accomplished and talented knitter and seamstress, a voracious reader and devoted to her dog and succession of several cats.

She is survived by her longtime companion Lawrence Mendes of Brighton, two brothers, Paul G. Huberdeau and his wife Nancy of Framingham, and Ronald F. Huberdeau of Bradford, a sister Karen J. Gaiero and her husband David of Bradford, a niece, four nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Nancy A. Huberdeau in 2017.

A private family funeral service will be held at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, with burial in the family lot in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
