Hampstead, NH: Anne M. (Balboni) Smith-Castellano, 78, of Hampstead died on October 5, 2013 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Born in Boston, MA daughter of the late James Balboni and Mary (Healy) Balboni Ford, she was raised in Brighton, MA and graduated from St. Columbkille High School.
As a young woman she worked as a clerk at First National Bank in Boston. She was most recently employed as a clerk for Kendal Company Medical Suppliers. An avid reader, Mrs. Castellano also enjoyed crafts. A former twenty year resident of Weymouth, MA, she has been a resident of Hampstead since 2003.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael A. Castellano, two sons, Gary W. Smith of Brunswick, GA, and Gregory J. Smith and his wife Mary Lynn of St. Simons Island, GA, a daughter Bonnie M. (Smith) Deady and her husband Michael of Boston, MA, six grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's Church, Hampstead. A burial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett, MA.
