Annabelle L. (Girroir) Briggs, 95, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, NH. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Briggs Sr with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

She was born in West Newbury, MA on July 19, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Earl V. and Annabelle (Wilton) Girroir. Annabelle was raised and educated in West Newbury and was a graduate of West Newbury High School, Class of 1950. She moved to Kingston, NH with her husband Donald in 1951. Annabelle was active in the Kingston community. She was employed for many years as the “lunch lady” at the Bakie Elementary School in Kingston. Annabelle had a lifelong interest in buying and selling antiques. She formed many wonderful friendships with others who shared her passion.

Annabelle is survived by her son Donald Briggs Jr and his partner Lisa Dondero of Kingston, NH, her daughter Donna Winslow of Kingston, NH, her grandson Kyle Winslow and his partner Nicole Rosario of Hauppauge, NY.

She was predeceased by her brothers Edwin Girroir, Earnest Girroir, and Arnold Girroir.

Annabelle’s family would like to thank the caring staff at the All American Assisted Living in Kingston, NH for the wonderful care that she received this past year.

Her funeral service and interment will be held privately. The family kindly requests there be no flower or memorial donations. Your thoughts, support and kind memories are greatly appreciated.
