Hampstead, NH: Anna F. (Lawson) MacLaughlin, 81, a former longtime resident of Plaistow and recently of Hampstead, died September 7, 2024, at Colonial Poplin Health Center in Fremont.

Born in Flat Lick, Kentucky, daughter of the late Herman and Delia (Elliott) Lawson, she graduated from Knox Central High School in Barbourville, and relocated to Dayton, Ohio at the age of eighteen.

In the early years of her marriage, Anna was a housewife and homemaker. After raising her children, she joined the workforce and was employed as an account manager at Wall Industries in Windham, NH. Anna enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting and spending time at the Plaistow Library and Hampstead Library. As a resident of Colonial Poplin Healthcare Center, she was a member of the resident council.

Anna is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Steven A. and Jessica MacLaughlin, of Barnstead, NH, and Scott D. and Diane MacLaughlin of Plaistow, NH; a brother and sister-in-law, William and Deanna Lawson, of Frankin, TN, four grandchildren, Cody MacLaughlin, Tucker MacLaughlin, Seth MacLaughlin, and Zachary MacLaughlin; a great grand-daughter, Saylor Mae MacLaughlin, her former husband, John MacLaughlin and several nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of Anna's life will be held at a later date.
