Ann E. (Dierauer) Roby, 84, of Plaistow, NH and Palm Harbor, Florida passed away on December 4th in Palm Harbor, FLA surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was the wife of Edward C. Roby. In October they celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary.

Ann was born in Haverhill, MA on December 3, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Stacy E. and Virginia (Moore) Dierauer. Educated in the Haverhill school system, Ann graduated from Haverhill High School class of 1957.

After graduation she worked as a bookkeeper for Mass Electric Co. When her children were young she became a stay-at-home, full-time mother. She later worked at three local pharmacies and served as a bookkeeper for her husband's business, Will-Mor Engineering.

She served as the chairperson of the Republican Party in West Newbury MA for a number of years.

Ann loved dining out with family and friends, playing cards, visiting casinos and traveling, having been on fifteen cruises with her husband to the Caribbean.  She also enjoyed watching the local sports teams and game shows.  She cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

In addition to her husband she leaves two children, Christopher J. Roby and his wife Nancy of Denver Colorado and Cheryl A. (Roby) Lynch and her husband Richard of Haverhill MA. She also leaves five grandchildren, one great grandchild, three step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Peter Dierauer of Haverhill, MA, and her sister Kathleen (Dierauer) Wrenn Groveland, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Family & Friends are invited to call on Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11am - 12:30pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow NH. Ann's Funeral will follow in the funeral home at 1pm. A burial will take place following the service at Plaistow Cemetery in Plaistow, NH.
