Obituary

Ann M. (Taylor) Robinson, 83, of Newton, died peacefully, Tuesday evening, August 1, 2023, at Cedar Health Care Center in Portsmouth, NH, after spending her last hours surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ipswich, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Elwood and Violet (Clancy) Taylor, she was raised and educated in West Gloucester.

A former longtime resident of Ipswich, Ann worked for many years as a seafood processor at Ipswich Shell Fish Co. She had also been previously employed at GTE Sylvania Corporation.

Moving to Newton, NH in her later years, Ann was a voracious reader and, enjoyed listening to music and was partial to  " the oldies".  She also enjoyed flower gardening, ceramics, completing puzzles, knitting, crocheting and crafts. She was an avid lover of the outdoors, and looked forward to trips to the beach, especially Crane's Beach in Ipswich, cruises, bird watching and the occasional trip to Florida.

Ann was predeceased in March 2023 by her husband of forty-nine years, William A. Robinson and will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four daughters, Kerri Perusse and her husband, Michael, of Newton, Sherry Gauthier and her husband Bob, of Florida, Donna Lane of Essex, MA, and Debbi Bernard Bramberg and her husband, Peter of Marblehead; two step-daughters, Kimberley Robinson of Ipswich, and Stephanie Lane and her husband, David of Ipswich; two step sons, Christopher Robinson and his wife Jeri-Lyn of New Jersey and William Robinson, Jr and his wife Melissa of Ipswich; a brother Paul Taylor of Connecticut, and a sister Leone Mansfield of Florida; grandchildren, Michael, Tyler, Alexis, Farren, Jared, Tasia, Danielle, Daniel, Christine, Christopher, Melissa, Sarah, Joel, Leah and Michaela; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers, Elwood Taylor, Jr., Edward Taylor, John Taylor, Charles Taylor, Robert Taylor and George Taylor, and her twin sister Annette, who died shortly after birth.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Friday August 11, 2023, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Highland Cemetery, Ipswich.
