Ann J. (Morris) Sabato, 88, of Fremont, NH and formerly of Tewksbury, MA, Atkinson, NH and Hampstead, NH, died on March 20, 2018 at the High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, MA.
Born in Everett, MA, the daughter of the late John and Ann (Roche) Morris, she was raised and educated in Everett and attended Everett High School. She worked as a clerk for the United Shoe Company and for the Town of Tewksbury.
Mrs. Sabato was a member of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish of Plaistow, NH, the Sons of Italy in Wilmington, MA and a member of the senior bowling league in Windham, NH. Mrs. Sabato enjoyed playing bingo, cooking and bowling and traveling, especially trips to Foxwoods.
The wife of the late Joseph Sabato who died in 2013, she is survived by four sons, Dr. Joseph Sabato, Jr., MD and his wife, Joyce of Holden, MA, John J. Sabato and his partner, Nancy of Hampton, NH; Wayne A. Sabato and his wife, Cheryl of Pelham, NH and Paul V. Sabato and his wife, Lisa of Raymond, NH; a daughter, Carol Heidenrich and her husband, John of Chelmsford, MA; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ann's Life Celebration to be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018, from 2 to 6 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Monday at 8 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM in Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, Plaistow, NH. Burial will take place in the spring.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
