Ann Mary (Gallant) Cronin, 86, a resident of East Kingston, NH died on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Exeter Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of William Cronin.
She was born in Rumford, ME on November 9, 1938, and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Catherine (Gaudet) Gallant. Ann was raised and educated in Rumford and was a graduate of Rumford High School, Class of 1957. She was employed as a produce clerk at Stop & Shop in Lynn, MA for over 27 years until her retirement. Ann was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing bingo and socializing with her friends in the club house at Cricket Hill in East Kingston. She was a parishioner of Mary Mother of the Church (St. Luke the Evangelist Parish) in Newton, NH.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons, John Cronin and his wife Maria of Bedford, MA, and Joseph Cronin and his wife Brandy of Salem, NH, her grandchildren Shawn Cronin, Peyton Cronin, Lauren Cronin, and Kerian Cronin, her step grandchildren Mirella Maskalenko, Gianna LaMorte, and Anthony Ruggiero, her step great-grandchildren Truman Maskalenko and Ayla LaMorte, her sister Esther McPhee, her sister-in-law Elaine Cragan and her husband John of Peabody, MA and several nieces and nephews.
She was sadly predeceased by her siblings Ivan Gallant, Leo Gallant, Louis Gallant, and Doris Jensen.
