Andrea L. Sposito, 53, longtime resident of Haverhill, passed away at Lawrence General Hospital on Friday, April 28, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Jamie Spates with whom she enjoyed 20 years of marriage.

She was born in Quincy on July 18, 1969 and was the daughter of Marcelyn (Stein) Sposito and the late John Sposito.

Andrea was raised and attended school in Revere. She was a graduate of Revere High School, class of 1987. Andrea later obtained her Bachelor's degree at Salem State University. She was a caretaker, her world revolved around caring for her family and anyone else in need. Andrea took pride in creating a loving home for Alicia and Jamie. She also loved animals and enjoyed dog walking. Andrea had a special way with difficult dogs, her gift was sought after on many occasions. Andrea and Jamie shared a passion for music, never missing a good concert. She will be missed.

She is survived by her husband Jamie and her daughter Alicia Spates of Haverhill, her mother Marcelyn of FL., her Aunt Andrea Stevens and her husband Barry of ME., her cousins Josh Stevens of ME., Jeremy Stevens and his wife Elizabeth and their children, of ME. Andrea also leaves behind many cherished friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours to be held on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5-7pm. Funeral service and interment will be held privately.
