IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Andrea M.
Despirito
June 10, 1954 – July 14, 2023
Atkinson, NH: Andrea M. (Morin) DeSpirito, 69, of Atkinson and formerly of Windham, NH and Haverhill, MA, died peacefully on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Windham Terrace, surrounded by her loving family.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, Andrea was the daughter of the late Emile and Cecile (Poulin) Morin. She attended St. Joseph Grammar School and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1972. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Art from Lowell University.
Andrea was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her time at home raising her two children before entering the workforce as a special education aid in the Pelham and Windham School Systems. As she did with her own children, Andrea took pride in her work helping her students reach their potential.
Andrea was a resident of Windham for thirty-five years before moving to Atkinson in 2018 and was a longtime member of St. Matthew Church of Windham. A woman who always put her family above all else, she enjoyed summer breaks with them at Manning Lake and Lake Winnipesaukee. She was also fond of spending time walking Hampton Beach with her husband, Bob. Andrea's hobbies included painting, ceramics, collecting antique dolls, and making antique reproduction porcelain dolls. She had a knack for anything that involved creativity.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of forty-five years, Robert DeSpirito, a son Gregory R. DeSpirito of Atkinson, a daughter and son-in-law, Lindsey A. and Matthew Fava, of Suffield, CT, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Kenneth McTighe and Marie and Ronald Barton, all of Haverhill, two grandchildren Avery and Quinn Fava, four aunts, Annette Schloth, Jean Comiskey, Marguerite Nordengren, and Marie Elizabeth "Betty" DeLuca, an uncle, William Morin and numerous cousins, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.
