Plaistow, NH: Amanda Virginia Marcotte-Maclean, 24 of Plaistow, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 7, 2017.

Born in Haverhill, MA on September 5, 1993, she was the loving daughter of Amy Marcotte and Brian Maclean. She has been a resident of Plaistow, all of her life, attending Pollard School and Timberlane Regional Middle School, where she was a member of the school Chorus and played the violin. An honor student and graduate of the Timberlane Regional High School Class of 2011, she was part of the Varsity Cheering Squad where she became a team captain. After graduation Amanda attended The University of New Hampshire where she cheered for the Wildcat Football Team. She received her early childhood certification from Manchester Community College and later attended Northern Essex Community College with aspirations of completing her degree in accounting.

Amanda was presently employed as a secretary at Donahue Brothers, Inc. and previously worked as a waitress at the Longhorn Steakhouse where she developed many great friendships. Prior to that she was a preschool teacher at her family owned daycare, All About Me Child Care Center where she built many loving relationships with co-workers, children and families that remained close to her heart.

A member of the Rockingham Church of Plaistow, Amanda enjoyed music, and had great artistic ability, excelling in drawing. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, hiking, bowling, "mudding", time with friends and special nights out at Sushi Time.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her mother and stepfather, Amy Marcotte-Stevens and Chris Stevens, who she referred to as her "Big" of Plaistow, her adoring father Brian T. Maclean of Haverhill, four brothers that she adored with all of her heart, Christopher Marcotte, Seth Marcotte, and Owen Stevens of Plaistow, and Brian Maclean of Brentwood, maternal grandparents, Gary and Sheila (Sargent) Marcotte "Meme & Bebba" of Plaistow, paternal grandparents, Jeanne and Kevin Weiskopf of Haverhill and Brian and Linda Maclean of Lawrence, great-grandmother Loretta Santos of Haverhill, her very special "Auntie Becca" (Marcotte) Chery, many aunts, uncles, cousins and her two lifelong best friends Julia and Meagan that loved her very much and she adored.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow, NH.
