Almie L. (Paquette) Lavallee, 81, a resident of Atkinson for the last fifteen years, and a former longtime resident of Plaistow from 1958 to 2000, died on December 1, 2015 at her home.
Born on February 21, 1934 in Haverhill, daughter of the late Charles and Lydia (DeViller) Paquette, she graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1952, where she was Head of the Cheerleading Squad. Mrs. Lavallee had been employed at Western Electric Company for ten years and was most recently employed as a Waitress at Hawaiian Island, where she made many good and long lasting friends, for twenty-three years.
A kind and gentle woman who loved babies and infants, Mrs. Lavallee attended St. Anne's Church in Hampstead. She enjoyed dancing, especially line dancing, ballroom dancing, and Zumba. She most enjoyed spending time with family and friends and taking day trips to the beach.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Lavallee in 1999, and is survived by three sons, Robert W. Lavallee, Jr. and his longtime companion Paula Nestor of Hampstead, John R. Lavallee and his wife Kristi of Kensington, and David M. Lavallee and his wife Kathleen of Keene, a daughter, Lynne A. Caldwell of Atkinson, eleven grandchildren, Julie, Rebecca, Robbie, Eleni, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Nolan, Jordan, Jessica, Heidi, and Julia, eight granddaughters, and her companion, Dr. David Woo, M.D. of Lowell, MA. She was predeceased by her brothers, Charles and Richard Paquette and her grandson, Ronald Caldwell.
There are no funeral services. A Celebration of Mrs. Lavallee's Life will take place at a later date.
