Kingston, NH: Dr. Allan Roy Steingisser passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 1st, 2022, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born February 20, 1942, in Bronx, New York, son to the late Henry and Yetta (Bergman) Steingisser. He was raised and educated in New York, later moving to Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Allan is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Gerri (Edwards) Steingisser; two sons, Allan Steingisser and his wife, Gail of Boxford, MA and Adam Steingisser of West Palm Beach, FL; four daughters, Andrea Ethier and her husband, Ken of Wallingford, CT, Alison Joyce and her husband, Noel of Groveland, MA, Tammy Conrad and her husband, Philip of Georgetown, MA and Kirsten Arnold of Kingston, NH; seven grandchildren, Shayna, Noah, Kyle, Trevor, Katie, Elise and Emilia. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother, Ronald Steingisser and sister, Judy Schneier.
For many years, Allan had a thriving practice as a chiropractor in Peabody and Salem, MA. He was very active in the Massachusetts Chiropractic Society, serving on the Board of Directors. He was a champion in the field of holistic medicine specializing in natural healing remedies. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed working on restoring Lotus models and was an avid collector of G-scale model trains. Allan loved sailing, hunting and cruising on his Harley. He loved to vacation in Las Vegas and traveled the world on cruise ships with his beautiful wife, Gerri. Above all, he treasured his loving family.
Allan is finally at peace in a better place, body and mind whole, cracking backs, racing his Lotus and riding his Harley!
