Obituary

Alissa D. Cormier, 47, a resident of Groton, MA died on Saturday, April 19, 2025 of a recent illness, after suffering a debilitating accident at home in Swampscott in 1985, 40 years ago. She was the daughter of Audrey Clark and the late Stephen Vacon.

Besides her mother, Alissa is survived by her sister Diana Domings and her husband Dan, brothers Kevin Clark and his wife Allison, Bobby "Max" Clark and Marcus Farmer Clark, her nieces and nephews Sophie Clark, Stephen Clark, Ella Domings and Luke Domings. She also leaves behind her aunts and uncles, Lorna and Paul Allen, John (Jay) and Cathy Cormier, Michael Cormier, Phil Cormier and Annie Lambert. She also leaves behind many cousins.

Alissa was sadly predeceased by her brother Stephen Clark, her maternal grandparents John and Lorna Cormier and her paternal grandparents Don and Eva Vacon. They were so dedicated to her and visited her often.

Heartfelt appreciation cannot be expressed more for all the staff/family/angels on earth at Seven Hills (formerly Children's Extended Care Center) in Groton. Their kindness, care and compassion for Alissa for many decades was always extraordinary. It was also very comforting to know that Alissa was safe and loved by all who worked there.

Funeral services and internment will be held privately. Donations can be made to Seven Hills, 22 Hillside Ave Groton, MA.
