Alice (Touloughian) Houssian, 92, a diasporan Armenian and Francophile passed away on November 23, 2023. Born August 14, 1931. Alice and her family emigrated to the United States in 1958, and were longtime residents of Haverhill, MA.

A woman of Armenian descent she and her husband worked unselfishly for their family to give them opportunities they did not have. Alice was a homemaker but held numerous positions throughout her life, including French teacher at a middle school.  Her most proud accomplishment for many years was owning and operating a health food store called Scott's Corners Health Foods in Pound Ridge, NY.

She was a strong-willed Mom who fought for what she believed, for her and her family. Alice had a very strong faith and was a devoted Jehovah's Witness.

Alice will be sadly missed, and lovingly remembered. She is survived by her three sons, Frederic Paris and wife Lindsay of Haverhill, MA, Robert Houssian of Emigrant, MT, Henri Houstian, and wife Christine of Kent Island, MD. Alice leaves one brother, Leon Touloughian, and his wife Leah of NJ. Alice leaves a long legacy of 6 loving grandchildren; Victoria, Kayla, Laura, Ellie, William, and James; and one great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Armen Houssian and grandson, Brandt.

Her life will be celebrated with Services on December 2, 3:30 at Jehovah Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 410 Water Street, Haverhill MA 01830, Zoom Web-conference information below.
