Alice Marie Dunn, of Newton, New Hampshire, passed away on August 20, 2026, in Exeter, New Hampshire, after a short illness. She was born on November 2, 1943, in Massachusetts.

Throughout her life, Alice held many jobs, including working as an operating room technician at Hale Hospital in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 10178 in Englewood, Florida.

Alice enjoyed the ocean and the beach, especially York, Maine. She loved gardening, antiques, spending time with her family, and especially caring for her grand-dog, Skye. She had a beautiful way of making those around her feel loved and welcome, and her kindness, gentle spirit, and devotion to her children and friends, will be cherished by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to share in her life. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Rowett and her husband Matthew of Merrimac, Massachusetts; her sons, John Gagnon and his wife Elaine of Haverhill, Massachusetts, and Christopher Gagnon and his wife Cheryl of Hampstead, New Hampshire; her brother, Brian Bagley and his wife Jessica of Manchester, New Hampshire; and her sisters, Mary Claire Sparks and her husband Tim of Saugus, Massachusetts, Susan Palleschi of North Andover, Massachusetts, and Ann Keating of Rockport, Massachusetts.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Amanda, Bethany, Brianna, Tylor, and Noah; and her great-grandchildren, Aiden and Audrina.

Alice was predeceased by her grandson, Justin Classen.

Services will be held privately under the care and direction of Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home. A celebration of Alice’s life will be announced at a later date.
