Obituary

Hillsborough, NH: Alfred C. "Al" Woolf, 43, recently of Hillsborough and a former resident of Plaistow, passed of brain cancer while surrounded by his wife and family, Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon, NH. Born in Haverhill, MA, son of John and Jeannette (Watts) Woolf, he attended Haverhill Public School and was a member of the Whittier Regional and Technical High School Class of 1992.
Al most recently worked in the Clean Room at Pfizer Inc. and had been previously employed in the local construction trades.
He enjoyed wildlife, hunting, camping and cooking and was known as a man with a great sense of humor and was a relentless practical joker. He was happiest on long car rides singing Country music to his wife and children. He also enjoyed music and drumming and was a devoted father and loving husband.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Stacy L. (Woodburn) Woolf, a son Mason A. Beal, three daughters, Morgan L. Beal, Madison E. Beal, and Makenna R. Beal, all of Hillsborough, his parents, John and Jeannette (Watts) Woolf of Haverhill, MA, a brother, John Woolf of Plaistow, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and John Carco of Londonderry, his loving mother-in-law, Pamela Woodburn, an Aunt Angelina Malin of Peabody, Uncles and Aunts, Vincent and Frances Visconti and Vincent and Lynn Watts, all of Winter Haven, FL, a great Aunt Helen M. Curran of Haines City, FL, his longtime best friend, Tim Gramolini and his wife Sue of Exeter, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to Al's Life Celebration to be held on Wednesday evening, September 27, 2017 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. His funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, Main Street, Plaistow. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, NH.
