Obituary

Atkinson, NH:  Albert J. Gulubicki, 81, of Atkinson, died peacefully on April 3, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

Born in Haverhill, Al was the son of the late Joseph and Anastacia (Wieczerzak) Gulubicki, and he attended Haverhill Public Schools. A member of the Haverhill Trade School Class of 1961, and proud member of Local 103 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, he worked for many local electrical contractors and was known by many of his union brothers as "Al Pal". For the last twenty years of his career, he worked primarily at Western Electric Co and A T&T Technologies.

A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Michael's Parish, "Papa" loved his home most when filled with family.  He enjoyed Sunday pot roast dinners.  In the summer months his most favorite pasttime was his garden.  He also enjoyed fishing and happy memories with the grandchildren.

During his final illness, "Mr. Al" was cared for by the nurses and staff at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH and the family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation for the exceptional support given to him and to the family.

Al will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted and loving wife of sixty years, Janice (Comeau) Gulubicki, his son, Garrett J. Gulubicki of Plaistow and his partner, Amy Morgan, his daughter, Alison J. Gulubicki and her husband, Christopher Horeth, of Haverhill; a sister, Pauline Schena of Haverhill, grandchildren, Abigail J. Gulubicki, Cole M. Horeth, Adam J. Horeth; a special family friend, Vicki, many nieces, nephews, great and great-grand nieces and nephews, and grand-dogs Bentley Joseph and Tia. He was pre-deceased by four sisters, Helen Gulubicki, Alfreda Brockelbank, Josephine King and Dorothy Tridenti.
