Obituary


Albert "Danny"' Caverno III, age 70 of Plaistow, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a long battle with cancer.



Danny was born on December 29, 1941 in Exeter, the son of Albert D. Caverno Jr. and Margaret L. (McLane).He was raised in Stratham and had graduated from Exeter High School Class of 1959.



Following his high school graduation, Danny served his country in the U.S. Army.He was stationed in Texas and Germany.



Danny had worked for Styletek in Lowell as a manager for several years.He had worked as a truck driver for East Coast Lumber for 18 years.Danny worked as an assembler for Parker Hannifin in Bradford for 10 years, he retired in 2006.



Danny loved the outdoors.He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bird watching, golf, horse shoes, hunting and snowmobiling.He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell a good joke.



Danny was predeceased by his father and stepdaughter, Catherine E. McDonough.He is survived by his mother, Margaret Caverno of Stratham.His wife of 7 years, Stephanie A. (Gynan) Caverno of Plaistow, daughter, Coleen Nussbaum and husband George of Danville, son, Danny Caverno IV and his girlfriend, Michele Bertoncini of Plaistow, stepson, Shawn R. Herlihy of Haverhill, MA,brothers; Kenny Caverno and wife Candy of Kittery, ME, Tim Caverno and wife Donna of Stratham, Tommy Caverno of Stratham, sister, Nancy Gilbert and husband David of Stratham, grandchildren; Joshua, Megan and Kyle Joyce.Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.



Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday April 20, 2012 from 2 - 5 PM at the Carl G. Davis American Legion Post 34 located at 176 Main Street in Plaistow.
