Mrs. Alba S. (Azzarito) Esposito, 78, of Haverhill, died Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.

Born and raised in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Sylvia (Selvaggio) Azzarito.She attended Haverhill High School, graduating with the Class of 1951 and Merrimack College.

Mrs. Esposito was primarily a housewife and homemaker and was a member of All Saints Parish, Haverhill.She was also an accomplished pianist.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Francis J. Esposito; a son and daughter-in-law, John F. and Lydia Esposito of Katonah, NY; two daughters and a son-in-law, Dr. Lisa M. Esposito of Springfield, MO and Joan S. and James S. Razook of Sugar Land, TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Antoinette "Toni" and Salvatore Tommasi of Methuen; a sister-in-law, Brenda Azzarito of Haverhill and three grandchildren.She was pre-deceased by her brother, Nicholas Azzarito.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, February 10, 2012, from 5 to 7 PM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.Her funeral service and burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill will be private.Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
