Alan Wayne Daviduk, Jr., 53, of Hampstead, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at his office on East Main Street in Hampstead.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, he was the son of Aminda (Zuzolo) and the late Alan W. Daviduk, Sr.
Alan was a devoted father, beloved family member, trusted friend, and respected businessman. He dedicated much of his life to serving his community through the family business, where his hard work, commitment, and generosity left a lasting impact on those who knew him.
Alan is described by his mother as the most wonderful son that God has ever created. He grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and was close to his maternal Italian grandparents, who helped take care of him so his mother could continue her medical career. Later, his family moved to Brockton, Massachusetts, where Alan grew into the most responsible young man at an early age, and helped his mom raise his two younger brothers. In high school, at Brockton High, he was a star athlete in football and wrestling, his team members and friends nicknamed him, “The Duk.” Along with being a well-educated student who loved to learn everything about everything: his gift for knowledge was amazing. His family then moved to Haverhill, Massachusetts, where Alan attended Haverhill High and continued to be an excellent student and star athlete. The first job he worked was for his dad at York Steakhouse, where he discovered his love of customer service and the food business, and then his parents went into a franchise business called Dunkin' Donuts. From there, Alan pursued higher education for a degree from Merrimack College. He graduated in the first class of Certified Webmasters Internet Fluent Specialists, who can both design websites and strategize how best to use the World Wide Web as a business tool (explained in an article written in the Boston Globe, June 1st, 1997). His passion was working for his parents and growing the family business with Dunkin' Donuts and 3 pizza shops. He eventually started his own successful business in Derry, New Hampshire, with Heavenly Donuts, and gained his own success with his internet ability. A proud, mature, and responsible man with the amazing courage and ability to succeed while overcoming medical conditions. His mother said he was her rock.
In his earlier years, Alan often visited D’Angelo’s in Haverhill, Massachusetts. He loved sandwiches, but even more, he liked the pretty lady behind the counter making them. Karen (Quigg) Daviduk met Alan through a mutual friend, Diane, and they would, as teenagers do, go out clubbing and dancing. Alan would always visit Karen at work, and only buy a sandwich if she made it. Alan and Karen were both at the club one night when he mustered the courage after buying a rose. He ran up to Karen, told her, “I have to do this,” gave her the rose, and kissed her. thirty-three years, seven children, and one grandchild later, Alan and Karen not only built a beautiful family, but built a beautiful legacy for all to remember them by.
Alan will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his adoring wife of twenty-six years, Karen (Quigg) Daviduk, of Hampstead, sons, Aaron Daviduk of Hampstead, Joshua Daviduk of Hampstead, Noah Daviduk of Hampstead, daughters, Phoebe Daviduk of Arizona, Autumn Daviduk of Exeter, New Hampshire, Emma Daviduk of Hampstead, and, Lily Daviduk of Hampstead, son, Alex Brown and his wife, Kelsey of Manchester, NH, brothers, Andrew Daviduk and his fiancé, Aja Silvio of Haverhill, MA, and, Anthony Daviduk and his wife, Jennifer of Sandown, New Hampshire, one grandchild, Jade Barber (daughter of Autumn), as well as many nieces and nephews. Alan is also survived by his dear mother, Aminda (Zuzolo) Daviduk of Kingston, NH.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Calling Hours on Tuesday June 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow. A Funeral Mass for Alan will be held the next day, Wednesday June 17, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at St. Anne’s Church, 26 Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, New Hampshire.
