DERRY – Adam Joseph Platania, 21, died Thursday, April 13, 2023 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born July 5, 2001 in Derry, NH, he is the son of David and Maria (Beauchamp) Platania.

Adam was born and raised in Derry, NH and was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, class of 2019. He was most recently employed at Allied Universal as a security guard. Adam had a great love of life and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of working on his own business, a clothing line he called, King2Gods.  Adam will be remembered by his family as an adventure seeker, always ready to try something new. He will be dearly missed.

In addition to his loving parents, Adam is survived by his brothers Jacob and Jaxen Platania, his paternal grandfather Victor Platania and his wife Janet of Westford, his maternal grandmother MaryAnn Kimball of Derry. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Adam is predeceased by his paternal grandmother Diane (Diodati) Platania and his maternal grandfather Joseph Beauchamp, also his longtime girlfriend and companion Katina Skotis, who passed as a result of the accident.

Family and friends may visit on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 4pm – 7pm at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11am at the New Life Church, 84 Nottingham Rd. Raymond, NH. Interment will be held privately.
