Plaistow, NH: Achille "Archie" G. Grenier, 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at the Hannah Duston HealthCare Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born and raised in Amesbury, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late, Achille and Yvonne (Dallaire) Grenier. He graduated from Amesbury High School and continued his education through trade school to become an Electrician.

Archie was a lifetime electrician and belonged to the international brotherhood of Electrical Workers, working to build numerous local hospitals and private buildings. He also worked on the continent of Africa for several years and enjoyed learning from the African people and their culture. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in Colorado Springs.

Archie was a master tradesman who always had the right tool for the job and enjoyed helping others. After retiring in 1991, he enjoyed frequent trips to Las Vegas with his beloved wife and working part time at Home Depot helping people. He was a devoted family man and cherished his time with his family and friends.

He is predeceased in 2020 by his beloved wife of sixty-five years, Rita G. (Piccirillo) Grenier, Archie is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott M. and Patty Grenier of Plaistow, NH and Todd J. and Jonna Grenier of Danville, NH; four grandchildren, Alec Grenier of Salem, NH, Shawn Grenier of Litchfield, NH, Eric Grenier of Plaistow, NH and Kelsey Grenier of Plaistow, NH; his brother, Pierre "Pete" Grenier of Amesbury, and several nieces and nephews. He is also predeceased by, son Mark A. Grenier and sisters, Celine Marie Talbot, Marie C. Grenier and Margaret M. Grenier.

Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, June 2, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will be held on Friday, June 3, 2022, at 10:30 AM in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
