Berwick, ME: A. Paul Dunne, 57, of Berwick, ME passed peacefully on June 24, 2016 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, NH.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, son of the late Paul and Mona (Lambe) Dunne, Paul moved to the United States on St. Patrick's Day when he was seven years old. He was raised in Billerica and graduated from Billerica High School with the Class of 1976.
Paul was employed at the Portsmouth Post Office and as a Chef at York Golf and Tennis Club for eleven years.
A member of the York Fish and Game Club, Paul loved fishing and was known for the large sunfish he would reel in. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed Tom Clancy books. He loved cooking and spending time with his wife and family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of sixteen years, Laurie L. (Goff) Dunne, six children, Michael Dunne and his wife Shayna, Daniel Dunne, Melissa Schreiber and her husband Jeremy, Matthew Chapman and his wife Antoinette, Nicole LaFlamme and her husband Michael, and Michael Chapman, a brother, Sean Dunne of Barnstead, NH, two sisters, Sheila Dunne-Powell of Andover, MA, and Kathy Brunetto of Billerica, MA, two grandchildren, Paisley LaFlamme and Finnian Dunne, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eamon and Patrick.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Thursday, July 7 at 12 noon in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston, NH.
